Our client needed to develop and manufacture an actively pumped hydrogen cartridge for its portable fuel cell system.

The project story:

• The client had decided on chemistry to evolve hydrogen by adding water to a hydride
• Sagentia Innovation developed the active pumping and dosing system
• We developed a test-bed system to determine the critical flow & environmental parameters to generate H₂
• We determined the control system to evolve H₂ at the correct rate for the fuel cell
• Delivered working demonstrators
